Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Enroute to and attending my Uncle Seng’s funeral. May he rest in peace.
Some photographs are love to me. Some are loss.
Which makes them all the more difficult to look at. To watch.
I have also realised something about family… and the way that we share the burden of each other’s grief when it bears on the heavy side. It’s sad and beautiful. I’ve decided that when I grow up, I want one of my own.

Melbourne, Australia – St Kilda
I met a man called Vic. He lives in a disparate way, at odds with society, amongst the cobwebs, moths and other creatures of floorboards and hidden cupboard corners. He is alone, haunted by the ghosts of his paranoia. People are out to get him. Prime Ministers from long ago want his blood. He talks about hope and the goodness of humanity. Also the stupidity. He tells me that we will be friends. He tells me that he knows it.
