When I look at the sky am I seeing a ghost of a star and if so shall I mourn it and if not does the passing of a great thing become greater if it leaves light trails streaking through the universe for millions of years after its death?

Looking up.

The year begins with fresh starts. Renewed laughter, romance and the rapture of seeing. The kind of renewal that raises you on your toes with the breeze. Birds in flight. Some things never change.

Felt the tailwind of 2009 flick up against my cheek. The new year approaches.
