Mumbai, India – Dhavari…

A beacon of hope, tenacity and often celebration. Also known as the largest slum in Asia. Living on reclaimed land, mountains of human waste and sewage, the people of Dhavari have made this place their own. Industriously at work and play, they laugh, sweat and carry on with the integrity of hope that their children will have a better future.
